What we handle
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication session.
- Resumes and confirmed profile fields you choose to save, including contact details, address, work authorization, and optional demographic or EEO answers.
- Job-related fields you explicitly import, including title, company, location, URL, and the visible job description.
- A sanitized site name and path pattern when you hide or restore the extension button while signed in. Full page contents and form answers are not included in that feedback.
How the extension uses data
The extension has one purpose: help you tailor and complete job applications. After you opt in, it stores your confirmed profile and app sign-in token in Chrome local storage so it can retrieve your profile and fill supported fields for your review. A LinkedIn job is read from the visible page only when you choose “Use This LinkedIn Job.” Imported job data is passed only to Resume Auto-Fill.
What we do not collect
We do not collect LinkedIn credentials or cookies, sell personal data, use it for advertising, auto-submit applications, or send applicant profiles, form answers, or LinkedIn page contents to an AI provider. Values you type directly into third-party application forms are not saved or transmitted by the extension.
Storage and sharing
Extension profile data, settings, pending job data, and the app token are stored on your device using Chrome storage. Authenticated requests send the token over HTTPS only to the Resume Auto-Fill API. Application data stored by the web app is held by our service providers solely to operate the product. We do not permit human access except when you request support, for security or legal reasons, or when data has been aggregated and de-identified.
Your choices
- Profile auto-fill remains disabled until you accept the disclosure inside the extension.
- You review every filled application and submit it yourself.
- Logging out removes the cached app token. Uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes locally stored extension data.
- You can update or delete saved records through the web app. For account or privacy requests, use the support contact on the Chrome Web Store listing.
Security and retention
We use encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated API requests, private storage, and user-scoped database access. Local extension data remains until it is replaced, cleared, or the extension is removed. Server records remain until you delete them or request account deletion, subject to security and legal retention needs.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be submitted through the support channel linked from the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
